Brett,
I downloaded your podcast last night and listened to it on the way to school this morning. Your “introduction to blogging” class was fantastic. I teach 6th grade social studies here in Connecticut. Although I have a class weblog up and running, and a podcast soon to come, I’ve yet to wrap my brain around the process of initiating individual student blogging and commenting. Your Podcast Episode 11 just provided the blueprint and the inspiration to move on to true student ownership of their weblogs. Thank you for opening up your classroom to the world.
PS: We have a very similar classroom teaching style!

Hi Brett,
I really enjoyed listening to your podcast on introducng the class to having their own blogs. BTW congratulations on your new job; you will be missed in the classroom.
Jo
This is the first podcast of yours I’ve listened to. I am very much taken with it. I got the impression through listening to you negotiate the assessment guidelines with your students that there was a buzz of excitement among the students. It seemed as though they couldn’t wait to get started.
Thank you for sharing this valuable “audio glimpse” into your classroom. I will listen to it again.
(2nd try with correct URL – sorry)

Hi,
Enjoyed your podcast – ooh, I’ve been known to post “I agree!” in blog comments!! =S Sounded like a fun classroom – can you please leave your new job and come teach us at university please.
Seriously though, it was cool how everyone was asking questions – I know that back then (and throughout highschool and up to now), I was always too afraid to speak up in class… =) It was also very good to see that the students knew exactly how they were going to be assessed because they were part of the process. That is priceless!
