Holidays strike and so does NECC

Well I am finally on holidays after a busy term back in the game.  Time to catch up on some movies and reading.  I am heading out on a much awaited holiday tomorrow, flying up to north Queensland for a much needed rest.

Thought I would let everyone know that NECC is running in the US - There is always some great blogging and coverage of the even - Certainly worth following… The best place to follow all the blogging going on (assuming folk are tagging the event and posts) would have to be on the hitchhikr page for NECC 2007.  Otherwise I would suggest having a look at Dave Warlick’s site - He always keeps track of the events.

In other news I am continuing with a digital media project at school.  Will be working hard over the holidays (once I return from paradise) on my training to become an Apple Certified Pro and trainer.  There is a huge amount of content to cover and work through….  All in a holidays work - Who said teachers get too many holidays?  The project is going to be really exciting with a number of opportunities for students to get involved in digital media from the early years right through to senior.  I can’t wait to see students develop these skills and then start to take them into other subjects.  Class podcasts, School TV show etc etc - Just the tip of the iceberg….  Of course I will keep things posted on here.

Till my return trust those who are at NECC have a wonderful time and my colleagues here in Australia have a great mid year break!!
